A hub is a real-world place on Popping where people share what’s happening there—like a park, restaurant, neighborhood, or school.
Hubs are tied to physical locations, not virtual ones. They’re meant for shared spaces, not individual homes or private residences.
Popping is a social platform where you can share anything without algorithms, filters, or pressure. It’s a more casual way to share life on your terms, including what’s happening around you and in the places you care about.
No. Popping does not show your live location.
All posts are shared in hubs. If you post in a hub tied to a real place, people will see that place. You might be there, or just sharing something about it. If it’s not tied to a place, you can post in the Popping hub.
You can choose who sees your posts using your sharing settings.
Open to Sparks is an optional feature that lets you signal when you’re open to dating. When it’s turned on, a small heart appears on your profile, but only to people who also have Open to Sparks enabled. Turning it on doesn’t change anything else about how Popping works.

Yea. Any user can create a hub for a real-world place, like a restaurant, park, neighborhood, or other shared location.

No. You can post in a hub whether or not you are physically there.
A pop is a ping that disappears after a set amount of time—anywhere from 1 minute to 24 hours. It’s perfect for sharing something in the moment without it sticking around.
Usernames can be up to 15 characters and may include letters, numbers, periods, and underscores.
Only people who also have Open to Sparks turned on can see your heart. If someone doesn’t have it enabled, they won’t see anything different on your profile.
